In the third though they explain things exactly and what they’re doing is just… dumb. In the first one you didn’t really know what the Reapers were and the second is essentially a side story, although you do start to get some hints as to what they’re about. My issue is the ending, obviously, but more than that it’s the whole story – or at least the way you come to think about it in the third game. ![]() ![]() So I’m thinking of getting Mass Effect Legendary Edition but having played the originals it’s the thought of playing Mass Effect 3 again that puts me off, not the first one.
